(no subject)

So Louise and I are going to the Big E tomorrow, in part to see how I did in the cross-stitch entries.  So for the record, here is how I feel going in:  I would be excited to win any ribbon/honorable mention, but won't feel too bad if I don't.  Optimistically pessimistic?  I'm excited to be going there.  And having not only free tickets but a parking pass seems cooler than it should.

I'm expecting this fair to be a little smaller than the Ohio state fair.  I don't remember looking at the 'creative arts' competitions there.  But at the Arizona state fair, I started to think maybe I could be a contender.

In other news I plan to eat food that is bad for me.

Current plan is to hit the Manchester quilt show the following day.  But we can play it by ear.
