Weekend fun
Oct. 6th, 2008 10:07 pmOkay, corn mazes are somewhat okay. Corn mazes with a 3-D element are wicked. And corn mazes at night are awesome.
There's a museum for arms and armor in Wooster MA. Very cool. Includes frequent demos of fighting with live steel, and they are very knowledgeable about their subject. Thing I learned this week: the Bilbo hilt of a sword, named for a town in Spain, the 3-5th fingers curl around the hilt, the thumb and 2nd finger pinch over the (protected) crossbar.
