ACPT 2019
Drove in on Friday, arriving about 5pm. Mom and I went to dinner by ourselves to the burger bar, so we could talk about Eric's separation a bit. For the Friday night entertainment Mike Shenk did Hear Here, an oral crossword that we solved with a couple other gals; then pick your poison--I tried cryptic but it was way too hard, switched to Puns and Anagrams, and then Marching Bands.
On Saturday went for exercise, had a protein bar, and proceeded to puzzle. With over 700 of us this year we were split up into two rooms, I chose to be in the downstairs room (better lighting). I'm doing well on the first six puzzles--baton pass, side dishes, +age, gravity, trade names, football. Went to dinner with Glen and Jan at a Peruvian restaurant.
